Digital Base Map Data / GIS Data Set Generation

TMR can provide complete digital base map data sets through its agreements with various data vendors.  This data can be combined with TMR's copyrighted digital geologic data to create complete geologic GIS data sets.  Base map data include:

Enhanced Cultural data
Digital Elevation Data (DEM or contour)
Well spot data
Public Land Survey

Geologic Data Conversion

TMR staff has been converting geologic data into digital form for over 10 years.   Most of the international data library was originally created as digital data.  The staff is currently converting the Domestic library into digital form.  This data are intended for use in various software packages including ArcViewâ, ArcInfoâ, GeoGraphixâ, MicroStationâ, and AutoCadâ.

TMR does provide data conversion services to clients needing to convert their proprietary  geologic data into digital form.  Once the geologic data is converted to digital format it can then be readily  combined with other data types including, seismic, subsurface, geochemical etc..
